Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi is pleased to present Adam Gordon’s solo exhibition Months Turn to Years. With Months Turn to Years, Gordon presents a new body of paintings developed as what he describes as “one organism”. Adam Gordon (b. 1986, St. Paul, Minnesota) is an artist based in Jersey City, New Jersey. His work has been included in major exhibitions such as the Whitney Biennial, New York (2022). Solo exhibitions and special projects include: The Torture, Zero…, Milan (2026); The Torture – Part 1, Prelude, Zero…, Milan (2025); The Playroom – Self Portraits, Project Native Informant, London (2023); Breath, Zero…, Montreuil (Paris) (2022); The Depression of Belgium, Chapter NY, New York (2022); The Large Lady, Gandt, New York (2022); Bald Woman, Project Native Informant, London (2021); New Works, Zero…, Milan (2020); The Grey Room, The Power Station, Dallas (2018); and Mall Passer, Chapter NY, New York (2017). Group exhibitions include: Quiet as It’s Kept, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2022); Post Scriptum. A Museum Forgotten by Heart, Macro, Rome (2024); exhibitions at Museion, Bolzano (2024); and Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna (2019). He received his MFA from Yale University School of Art (2011) and a BFA from the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts (2008).
