He is one of Americas most renowned painters. Pittman holds a professorship at the department of Fine Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) In addition to many acclaimed international exhibitions, his work has been shown in Germany at the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg and ZKM in Karlsruhe.
