Justice [Laughter] Justice

D. D. D. D. is pleased to present Justice [Laughter] Justice, a site-specific sculptural installation by Paz Sher. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York City. Sher’s installations are carefully crafted environments of unstable playful-mess in which systems of objects and spatial gestures interact in cryptic but realized relationships. These experimental encounters transcend linguistic boundaries in order to undermine and precede our shifting surroundings. “Slow smoke shows something else. Paz Sher (b. 1988, Netherlands) is an installation artist and sculptor based in Brooklyn, New York. Sher holds an MFA (2024) from the Sculpture and Extended Media Department at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond VA, and a BFA cum laude (2017) from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Sher has exhibited his work in group shows in Leipzig, Germany, Richmond, VA, Washington D.C., New York, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv. He had a two person show at Atelier Shemi Gallery, and solo shows at Hamidrasha Gallery in Tel Aviv (2020) and The Anderson Gallery in Richmond, VA.
