Condo London 2026

Brunette Coleman

17 January – 15 February 2026

Brunette Coleman hosting Zero, Milan presenting Paride Maria Calvia, Hubert Duprat, and Irene Fenara. Brunette Coleman, London and Zero…, Milan are pleased to present a group exhibition of works by Paride Maria Calvia (b. 1990, Bologna, Italy), Hubert Duprat (b. 1957, Nérac, France) and Irene Fenara (b. 1990, Bologna, Italy) on the occasion of Condo London 2026. All three artists are concerned with underlying and often overlooked systems – biological, material or technological. Paride Maria Calvia works with byproduct materials – both organic and manmade. Salvaged rocks, animal hair, sebum and chalk appear across his practice, not as raw resources but as substances already shaped by usage and time. In Blowing coat, he forms hand-rolled spheres from pig hair using only water and friction. Known as 'natural bristle', the material is commonly used for durable brushes (paint, industrial, makeup and hair). In his series Tube de tricopthère (ongoing since 1980), Hubert Duprat creates a device that conditions caddisflies (trichoptera) to use precious materials such as gold, pearls, rubies and diamonds instead of sand and twigs to build their armour, transforming these insects into ‘goldsmiths’. Irene Fenara's ongoing series, Supervision, investigates the aesthetics and politics of surveillance. Through a process of appropriation, she intercepts and reframes imagery produced by automated systems, foregrounding the poetic and mechanical qualities of these often-overlooked technologies. Condo London 2026 is a collaborative exhibition involving 50 galleries across 23 London spaces.
