Laura BartlettLaura Bartlett Gallery is please to announce a 10-day film programme selected by Beatrice Gibson featuring: Basma Al Sharif Deep Sleep, 2014 Kenneth Anger Invocation of My Demon Brother, 1969 Ellen Cantor Evokation of My Demon Sister, 2002 Mary Helena Clark By foot-candle light, 2011 Michael Robinson The Dark, Krystle, 2014 The programme has been developed from a body of research undertaken by Gibson for two new films, the first, with and about two poets: Eileen Myles and CA Conrad. The second an adaptation of a Gertrude Stein film script, Deux Seours Qui Son Pas Seours. Gibson's new films are to be released in 2018 and are a co-commission by KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin and Borealis, a festival for Experimental Music, Bergen.
