The Upstairs Featuring a selection from Tom Burr’s latest series of wood-mounted collages, Journal Works delicately alludes to Ellsworth Kelly’s monumental Sculpture for a Large Wall (1957). Alongside this reference, Burr culls materials from art history, shifting queer cultures, and his personal life as an artist, securing them in productive relation with each other.
