Christine Messineo is the Director of Frieze Los Angeles and Frieze New York. Frieze Los Angeles largely focuses on contemporary art and celebrates the exceptionally dynamic culture of Los Angeles and its global contributions to the visual arts. The sixth edition of the fair returns to Santa Monica Airport from February 20-23, 2025 and will feature galleries from around the world, plus an expansive program of ambitious installations, collaborations with nonprofit organizations, and pop-ups from some of Los Angeles' most beloved restaurants. The Focus section will be curated by Essence Harden (co-curator Made in L.A 2025) for the second year. Focus is dedicated to solo presentations by galleries with a space in the US, formed in or after 2013. This section benefits from a subsidized rate.
