Here the artists question our perception of the real and reformulate alternative scenarios of how we can experience our lives as subjects of states, cities, neighbourhoods. The front room of Kadist will become the State’s headquarters, its parliament: a new collaborative work by Jonas Staal and Laure Prouvost, The Aube’s cure Parle Ment with agents artists Margarita Bofiliou and Alexandros Tzannis. ***** State (in) Concepts vise à repenser les sens du mot « État » à travers les notions d’identité, de citoyenneté, de classe, au sein des pouvoirs institutionnels qui nous entourent. Ici les artistes mettent en doute notre perception du réel en formulant des scénarios alternatifs sur la manière dont nous vivons en tant que sujet d'un État, d'une ville, d'un quartier ou de tout autre lieu. La première salle de Kadist accueille une œuvre collaborative inédite de Jonas Staal et de Laure Prouvost, The Aube’s cure Parle Ment, et de nouvelles productions des artistes Margarita Bofiliou et Alexandros Tzannis.
