The human looks down and sees Andromeda’s reflection in red-brown dirt and it feels like home." —Isabel Beatty Le Maximum is pleased to present Lapskaus, an exhibition of new and older paintings by Damon Sfetsios (New York), Evan Jose (Vienna), and Simon Glaser (Berlin), who met while studying together at Städelschule, Frankfurt. They bring into constellation three bodies of work consisting of various landscape paintings, some of which were brought along and others created while meeting in Los Angeles. Together they run a fine line between what they share and what they do not.
