Now in its 17th year, the Summer Exhibition takes place in the Academy's grand exhibition hall in the heart of Tribeca's vibrant gallery scene. It features paintings, drawings, and sculptures by Academy alumni, faculty, and students. Works were selected from over 460 submissions with 32 chosen by a jury that includes gallerists, Eden Deering, Director of P·P·O·W; Anna Furney, partner at Venus Over Manhattan; Olivia Smith, Director at Magenta Plains. “We were thrilled to work with three jurors noted for their expertise in the emerging New York art scene. They were particularly suited to selecting the Summer Exhibition, and I am very happy with the show that resulted." —David Kratz, President of the New York Academy of Art.
