Orient15 Orient is delighted to present the opening of a solo exhibition of recent paintings by Deshaun Price. On view in the gallery are nine works; three landscapes and six portraits. Configurative in nature, each painting represents a highly distilled synthesis of aspects of a life lived. The eponymous exhibition marks the artist’s first show with the gallery and first solo-show in New York. Deshaun Price (b. 1992) lives and works in Frankfurt, where he currently studies in the class of Monika Baer at the Städelschule Academy of Fine Arts. Recent solo exhibitions include "Basic Pictures" at Christian Andersen, Copenhagen ( 2023 ), "lntencity" at Neue Alte Brücke, Frankfurt ( 2022) and "Outside Joke" at BBBerlin, Berlin ( 2021 ).
