ZéruìZéruì is delighted to present Fragments, a duo exhibition between Jack Laver and Li Li Ren. Fragments unfolds as meditations on the tension between control and freedom, growth and decay, and the fragile boundaries that separate the natural and artificial. Both Li Li Ren and Jack Laver’s practices dwell in liminal spaces where materials and forms resist containment. Their works witness the entanglement of human and non-human agencies that shape our collective subconscious. Li Li Ren (b. 1986, Heilongjiang Province, China) lives and works in London, where she gained her BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, in 2010, and her MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2017. Recent solo exhibitions include The World Forgetting, by the World Forgot at Sherbet Green, London (2024) and Sunset as Burning Bruise at Magician Space, Beijing (2022). Jack Laver (b. 1998) is a mixed media artist and musician who lives and works in London.
