[Scroll down for French version / Veuillez trouver ci-dessous la version française] In October 2016 Jimmie Durham and Jone Kvie, who since long highly appreciate each others work and are in a fruitful exchange for many years, had with the support of Galerie Michel Rein together a residency at CIRVA in Marseille for 3 weeks. Both seized the opportunity to work and experiment with glass in production for the first time in their oeuvre and pursued their own artistic endeavours with this material. Both artists produced works of their own, but also created two works as a collaborative experiment. All of these works are presented here. ***** Jimmie Durham et Jone Kvie ont beaucoup d’estime pour leur travail respectif, ils ont établi depuis de nombreuses années un dialogue fructueux. En octobre 2016, avec le soutien de la galerie Michel Rein ils ont pu travailler ensemble trois semaines lors d’une résidence au CIRVA à Marseille. Les deux artistes ont travaillé le verre pour la première fois, en poursuivant leur questionnement artistique. Chacun des artistes a produit ses propres oeuvres, ils ont également crée deux oeuvres en collaboration. L’ensemble de ces oeuvres est présenté lors de cette exposition.
