Not as a genre, but as a question — the gap between a person and their image, what survives representation, what exceeds the frame, and what the image fails to hold, who has been granted the right to appear, in what form, and on whose terms. Each artist has responded through their own materials and their own rhythms of looking, making the exhibition less a thesis than a conversation — open, sincere, and necessarily incomplete.
