Susan Sheehan Gallery is pleased to present Richard Diebenkorn: Master Prints, an exhibition highlighting the artist's expansive contributions to post-war printmaking. Spanning 30 years, this exhibition traces Diebenkorn's stylistic evolution from his early focus on representational forms to the distinct abstract language of his renowned Ocean Park series. Highlights include Green and High Green Version I, monumental aquatints distinguished by richly layered compositions of atmospheric hues. Diebenkorn's technical ambition is on display in woodcuts such as Ochre and Blue with Red, while Tri-Color and Spreading Spade speak to the intimate and personal nature of his creative process. Richard Diebenkorn: Master Prints celebrates the long-anticipated release of Richard Diebenkorn: The Catalogue Raisonné of Prints, a comprehensive resource of the artist's prints, documenting his entire output across lithography, monotype, woodcut, drypoint, and etching.
