It Is No Longer Possible to Map Any Distance

So thick you can slice it up, it’s see-through and you won’t know what’s there. Distance, not as a measurement, but as a medium that registers the movement of orbital bodies, mocking endings and beginnings. The exhibition gathers the work of twelve Icelandic artists. They walk with distance between them. Their distance is the condition of their autonomy elsewhere, while the ground is shivering and solid. Yielding a state, sometimes disorienting, with an underplayed anticipation that is never quite relieved.
