That emptiness is deliberate — both a literal clearing and a metaphorical one — a way of making room: room to slow down, to return to each of the participants of Volume 1 in turn, and to look past the single work on the wall toward the wider practice behind it, including the side projects that surround and feed it. Where Volume 1 gathered, Volume 2 lingers.
