Michael ThibaultCheck that all objects are visible and functioning. If issues become apparent, alert attendant. Ducting and catch pans are nonadjustable. Do not disturb ducts, bins, objects or discarded batteries. Interior building lights must remain on. Sky sources will shift but grid sources will be constant. Check for light leaks along seams and edges and repair light leaks with black or clear tape. Check that all objects are visible and functioning. All objects in the pans should be on and working and the provided battery adaptor should be present and visible. Confirm power by activating. Check that adapted batteries are inserted properly. If the object is still not functioning, replace the adapted batteries with a fresh set. Discard used batteries in the bottom of pans. Do not disturb or discard any plastic or paper packaging material. Rooms may be shut down after sweeping for any remaining visitors. Turn the objects off once rooms are closed down to conserve batter power. If issues become apparent, alert attendant. If an object is not performing its intended task, notify an attendant. Bill Jenkins (b. 1981, Grass Valley, CA, USA) lives and works in New York City. Currently an solo exhibition of Jenkin’s work is on view at Portland Apertures, part of the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art's Time Based Art Festival. Jenkins has had two solo shows with Laurel Gitlen in NYC, where he is represented. Jenkins’ work has been included in exhibitions at Sikkema Jenkins & Co., NYC; James Cohan, NYC; Yvon Lambert, Paris; Feature Inc., NYC; and a collaborative exhibition with Alina Tenser at the Suburban in Oak Park, IL. Jenkins was recipient of the New York Artadia Award in 2015. Chadwick Rantanen (b. 1981, Wausau, Wisconsin, USA) lives and works in Los Angeles. Recent solo shows include exhibitions at Standard (Oslo) and Essex Street, NYC. Rantanen’s work has been included in exhibitions at Sculpture Center, NYC; Overduin & Co., Los Angeles; Tanya Leighton, Berlin; Moscow Museum of Modern Art; The Modern Institute, Glasgow; and Galerie Micky Schubert, Berlin. Upcoming exhibitions include Grazer Kunstverein, Graz, AT; and Shane Campbell, Chicago, IL.
