The exhibition brings together works by sixteen artists of different generations and cultural backgrounds who explore the theme of the nude. The nude has long been a significant subject in art. However, the way it is viewed and depicted has evolved alongside changing historical contexts and artistic perspectives. Some artists approach the body as an object of desire and eroticism, while others use it to expose the structure of the gaze and underlying power dynamics. The body serves both as a means of expressing identity and a shell for concealing it. Constantly transformed through wounds and aging, it reveals the inherent fragility and imperfection of human existence—reflecting traces of absence and vanity. At times, it is simply consumed as a marketable image. Although the participating artists differ in temperament, gender, nationality, generation, and artistic approach, they share a common thread. Through refined mastery of material and technique, each artist articulates their own vision of ideal beauty. Revisiting a classical subject through their unique gaze and sensibility, they explore the fundamental beauty of the human form and the emotional depth it contains— attachment, desire, and the feeling of love. Ultimately, the exhibition contemplates what it means to look, to feel, and to share the curiosity toward body, perception, and presence.
