Tim Gardner
<p>Founded by Lisa Spellman in 1984 at 303 Park Avenue South, 303 Gallery takes its name from Alfred Stieglitz's "Intimate Gallery" in Room 303 of the Anderson Galleries building. The gallery moved through the East Village and SoHo before becoming one of the first galleries to establish itself in Chelsea in 1996. The current location at 555 West 21st Street opened in 2016 in a building designed by Norman Foster + Partners. Notable artists include Christopher Wool, Robert Gober, Vito Acconci, Andreas Gursky, Doug Aitken, and Rirkrit Tiravanija.</p>
