<p>Founded in 2015 by Alexander Shulan in a historic Bowery studio once belonging to artist Eva Hesse, LOMEX is a contemporary art gallery named after the abortive Robert Moses expressway planned for the area. With a strong emphasis on 'New New York art' and close collaboration with young artists, the gallery relocated to Tribeca in 2021 and has since expanded to work with international artists and artist estates. LOMEX participates in major art fairs including Art Basel Miami Beach, The Armory Show, and Frieze New York.</p>
