Matthew Brown is pleased to present Slow Definition, a solo exhibition of new paintings by the Paris-based painter Julie Beaufils at the gallery's Tribeca location. This is the artist's second exhibition with the gallery and her first solo exhibition in New York. Julie Beaufils (b. 1987, Paris) lives and works in Paris. She studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and at University of Southern California's Roski School of Art in Los Angeles.
