Yancey Richardson

Founded in 1995 by Yancey Richardson, this Chelsea gallery represents artists working in photography, film, and lens-based media, having moved from SoHo in 2000. The program includes emerging photographers alongside critically recognized artists such as Mitch Epstein, Zanele Muholi, and Mickalene Thomas, and has presented exhibitions of historically significant figures like William Eggleston and Larry Sultan. Gallery artists have been extensively collected by major institutions including MoMA, the Getty Museum, Centre Pompidou, and the Whitney Museum.
