Luhring Augustine

Founded in 1985 by Lawrence Luhring and Roland Augustine, this gallery focuses on representing an international group of contemporary artists whose practices include painting, drawing, sculpture, video, and photography. Based in Chelsea since 1998 with a second Bushwick location since 2012 and a Tribeca space opened in 2020 marking its 35th anniversary, the gallery adheres to a rigorous curatorial model incorporating historical exhibitions alongside its contemporary program. Luhring Augustine also specializes in resale of 20th-century works by Picasso, Pollock, Warhol, and Richter.
