Group Exhibition
Founded in 2013 by Mary Ryan and Jeffrey Lee, RYAN LEE has established itself as a welcoming place of discovery for post-war and contemporary art in Chelsea. The gallery takes a multi-generational approach to programming, championing ahead-of-their-time talents such as Emma Amos, Martine Gutierrez, and Hung Liu, with long-standing dedication to feminist, Black and Asian American, and queer narratives. Works have been placed in major institutions including MoMA, The Met, Guggenheim, LACMA, and the British Museum.
